COVID-19 Response: Having Difficulty Doing Laundry?

Having Difficulty Doing Laundry?

The State of California has designated laundromats as providing essential services during the COVID-19 outbreak.  The Centers for Disease Control recommends that families should continue to observe the best levels of cleanliness and hygiene possible, including regular clothes washing, during the pandemic.

What you can do to keep your families safe and disinfect your clothes while doing your laundry at Fresh & Clean Laundry:

  • Wash laundry in the warmest temperatures recommended by manufacturer. To disinfect laundry add bleach for bleach safe fabrics or Pine-Sol to the wash at the beginning of cycle.
  • After loading your laundry into the washers and dryers, please wait in your car.If you walked here, please wait outside weather permitting.
  • Please try to maintain maximum distance between you and other customers.
  • If possible, please only have one person per household doing laundry to help minimize the number of people in the laundromat.
  • Please fold your laundry at home to reduce the amount of time spent in the laundromat.
  • Thoroughly wash your hands for 20-30 seconds before and after entering the laundromat, and/or wear gloves.
  • Do not touch your face.
  • If you are sick especially if you are experiencing: fever or dry cough please do not enter the laundromat. Rather, take advantage of one of the two options we have available to our customers:
